• At the launch of Final Cut Pro 4, LJK Consult, LLC sold more copies of the new application than any other resouce, including Apple's own stores.
• Authored and published Final Cut Pro 3 101. a training guide that has been distributed to over 30,000 computer users.

Since starting LJK Consult, LLC in the early nineties, Lowell Kay has been working to provide value-priced products and services to the independent filmmaker, and to the entertainment community at large. Launching LJK Consult, LLC in his parents' garage, the business has grown into one of the industry's most important and respected resources for motion picture film, post-production services, and digital video solutions. With over a decade of hands-on, "in-the-trenches" experience, Lowell has become a sought after guest speaker for film festivals, he has written technology articles for film and video related publications, and has been featured on CNN as an expert on HD. His unique ability to understand the industry's convergence of film products and digital video solutions has enabled Lowell to develop several cutting-edge products, including his company's Portable PostHouse and LJK Consult, LLC's Xport family of portable HD and SD video solutions.
